Gong shows are basically competitive open mics. In London, NY and Los Angeles, where legions of comics all vie for attention, these are the shows where young comics learn to swim or sink. Alaskan host extra-ordinaire Kendra Borgen is bringing her Amsterdam-based gong show to the fest, with great young comics from the local English scene in tow.
