The 7-Week Advanced Stand-Up Course is designed for comedians who already have some stage experience and want to take their skills to the next level. In this course, you will immerse yourself in the world of comedy one evening per week (from 7:15 pm to 10:00 pm) for seven weeks. Under the guidance of our experienced teachers, you will refine your existing material and develop new, stronger material to perform on stage.
From advanced joke structures and timing to dealing with unexpected audience reactions, this course delves deeper into the intricacies of stand-up comedy. You’ll work on perfecting your comedic voice, stage presence, and how to handle challenging situations like when a joke doesn’t land.
At the end of the course, you will perform in a showcase at the Comedyhuis Club, where you’ll get a chance to show off your improved skills in front of a live audience.
