Goofy yet refreshingly no-nonsense
On a whim, Micky Overman moved from the Netherlands to London in 2015 to pursue stand up comedy. Now, five years later, she’s a well-established comic having played all over the UK and Europe, and recently performed her second solo show (★★★★ – The Voice) at the prestigious Pleasance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
She has a uniquely distinct style combining surgically sharp writing with a refreshing whimsy (“a pin-sharp torrent of precision gags and delightfully silly one-liners” – The Observer). She’s performed in sketches for the BBC and The Hook, and she already has the aura of a comedian way beyond her years.
